Already have an engine? Our Frame Kit accepts almost any standard 5.5-7hp horizontal 3/4" keyed shaft engine! The 6.5hp PPF Wood Duck Frame kit comes fully assembled and complete with everything you need to mount your engine onto the Wood Duck frame. Comes with all necessary hardware and simple step by step instructions to bolt your 6.5hp engine to our frame. Your engine or ours, the frames are still covered by our 2 year frame warranty.

Wood duck kit
Great product. Easy to assemble. Built tough. Opens up a lot of new skinny water areas to me. Can't go wrong with this kit.
PPF wood duck
Received my PPF kit quickly after purchase. I have not had a chance yet to run it on the boat, but you can tell it is quality made, and it bolted up to my predator motor without any issues. The instructions were very thorough and easy to follow. Overall very happy with the purchase, I wish I bought this years ago instead of cheaper alternative options. I can't wait to actually get it out on the water.
Best Small Longtail on the Market
This is my third small longtail... I started with a stumpjumper then moved on to a Backwater after a few years, thinking I was getting the best small longtail on the market. Total mistake, I sold the backwater after a couple months as it was heavy and not real portable. Recently got this wood duck and it’s everything I want and nothing I don’t. There is no doubt the backwater is a solid kit from an engineering standpoint, but if you don’t use a trailer, and you transport your boat in the back of the truck like I do, or like Jake at ppf does.. definitely go with this wood duck. Really solid kit.
PPF Kit
Just buy it! You will not be disappointed. I hunt a small river that is very low this year. Lots of sand and gravel bars and downed trees to go over. With two adults and a dog in my Beavertail we have made it up and down several times with no issues. I can’t believe where this motor can take us. It is solid as a rock, overbuilt and worth every penny. 2 miles up that river is no place to worry about your motor, and I have no worries about this one.
Wood duck kit frame
Received the kit and was very pleased with the heave frame and welding construction. I did have to make a few very minor adjustments for the kit to fit up to the motor I put on it, I received immediate responses back when I had a few questions on alignment, great customer service. I needed the power for running in mud in a small, lite package, and that is what this product is. As long as the boat floated, this unit did the job. Already getting questions on how I was able to get across the mud flats from others watching, and where I bought this. Your getting high recommendations from me.

Ppf kit
Well constructed product. Owned all kinds of mud motors from hopped up surface drives to small long tails. The ppf is very light weight and the length is somewhat hybrid between a long tail and surface drive. Very easy to drive on a 12 foot aluminum boat standing or sitting down. Digs well in the mud and ss prop is durable. Kit is very easy to put together with 5 main bolts. Tail has good reach to dig in pockets but short enough for the comfort factor in steering. Was able to take sharp turns at WOT comfortably sitting. Great package.
Mud motor frame kit
If your looking for the highest quality small mud motor on the market this is it. The frame kit bolted up to my predator 212cc motor like a breeze. The instructions were also very nice, good pictures and detail for anyone who's not very mechanically inclined. Motor works great on both my 12' Jon boat and layout boat. Very easy to move between the 2 boats and easy to carry to that shallow roadside ditch in the marsh. No boat ramp. No problems
